Who are the authors?

Kasia Oleś - I often talk about where babies come from - it's natural, because as a midwife I accompany women and their families during pregnancy, childbirth and the first moments of a child's life. I learned this from books, from other doctors, but most of all from mothers and their loved ones. I also remembered what children ask, and that's why I wrote this book. First my daughters read it, then my grandchildren - their opinion was very important to me. Just like other people and nature, which I love to observe.

Ania Salamon - When I was little, I dreamed of illustrating books; I drew, painted and finished the schools needed to make this dream come true. And in my free time I have always loved crocheting and knitting. My dreams have come true, and work has combined with pleasure - I illustrate children's books with crochet. I only make books about beautiful things, like the one about birth. I have five children. I work in a school. Every day I look at the world with delight.
