This is how the fairy tale about the dwarf Hałabała begins, which has entertained Polish children since 1936.
In this edition, we return to the unforgettable illustrations by the outstanding artist Zdzisław Witwicki.
Lucyna Krzemieniecka (born in 1907, died in 1955), author of books for children, poet. She studied Polish and Romance studies at the University of Warsaw. She made her debut in 1926 in the magazine Głos Prawdy. She was associated with the Kwadryga literary group. She collaborated with the editorial offices of children's magazines: Świerszczyk, Płomyk, Płomyczek, as well as the Baj Theater and Polish Radio.
Laureate of the Literary Award of the Capital City of Warsaw Of Warsaw, posthumously awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
